Both these recipes looked good, but did you check the sodium levels? They both have close to 800 mg per serving. That's too high in my household where we are dealing with high blood pressure and kidney disease. - 3/12/2013   3:44:48 PM

We get lots of pumpkin & winter squash from our CSA farmer. A while back, I made a slow-cooker stew with pumpkin, onion, celery, and a pork roast. I didn't really have a recipe (we tend to do that a lot), but I made it like a regular stew. It was a big hit in my house. - 2/11/2013   2:58:34 PM

I love to use my slow cooker too. One of our favourites is pulled pork. I am going to have to make that soon! - 3/21/2012   7:35:47 PM

Sounds really good, but way too much sodium for me :( - 3/20/2012   4:08:52 PM
