Some of the other items also look good and I will try them - 8/17/2009 7:07:47 AM
You're better off getting Reddi-Wip Fat Free Whipped Cream, it even has 1/3 of the calories (5 vs 15 for two tbs), and the first two ingredients are cream and non-fat milk.
I love Amy's fat-free Alphabet soup. I bought it not knowing it was fat-free, and it tastes amazing! I would certainly try more of that brand. - 5/12/2009 8:58:28 AM
I've also tried Deutsche Kuche Mixed Fruit Muesli from Aldi's. It has whole grain oat, wheat, and barley flakes with dried dates, apricots, apples, strawberries and banana chips. Half a cup stats: 190 cal., 2g fat, o sat. and trans fat, 55mg sodium, 39g carbs, 4g fiber, 21g sugar and 4 g protein. I mix it with plain nonfat yogurt for a real day starter! - 5/9/2009 7:31:26 AM
Cool whip in a can tastes good as well - not real whipped cream but good for daily use. Pumpkin pie still has to have the real thing!
We have been using the Kraft 2% cheeses for quite a while. Tastes the same unless you are comparing to a high quality cheese like $6-10 a pound cheese. Melts great - we use on quesadillas, omelets, casseroles
Tried splenda with fiber and did not notice any difference in the taste without - 4/16/2009 7:50:54 PM
I totally agree with her!! I'm having the Roasted red potatoes with green beans, in Rosemary butter sauce for lunch right now. At 80 cal. for 3/4 cup cooked, these veggies and potatoes are tasty and well worth the calories. Yummy, Yummy, Yummy!
I have also tried the cafe steamers, all different kinds. They taste great and are convenient...and the ones I tried ranged frfom about 250-360 cal. approx. My favorite was the Margherita chicken!! Yummo!!!!!! - 3/9/2009 5:24:56 PM

my boyfriend who eats candy and sweets all day even tried it and thought it was great! he couldnt believe it was so good and actually healthy!
i picked up some lean cuisince seafood. its been in my freezer for about 3 weeks now because im nervous to try it! im worried that it might taste all fishy and gross. lol but i think ill eat it for lunch tomorrow! - 11/5/2008 10:01:00 AM
As for the Olive Oil Mayo. I have tried that. I bought it because its heart healthy, we all know that olive oil is a great alternative to vegetable oil. I was skeptical to try it because of its color- it has like a tint of green- due to the olives I am sure. Yet, it tastes very good. I really can't taste a major difference between it and regular Mayo except it taste lighter, the tast is slightly more faint but great. I would say try it. - 9/6/2008 10:38:19 PM
yes, the sodium is high, but if you monitor your sodium intake for the rest of the day, you won't go over your range. - 9/6/2008 11:41:52 AM
