I loved so many of them! The 10 Reasons was a great reminder and the one on Diabetes was a real wake-up call. I love the recess one - it mirrors some of the information our Wellness program at work has been sharing and I really liked the Road to Health's focus on deserving to be happy. - 12/15/2010   1:49:08 PM

The 10 reasons your body thinks it's hungry was a great reminder of things that affect our appetite. Also, the Burlesque dance moves are always a great change of pace to have fun, feel sexy, and be fit. - 11/30/2010   10:31:06 AM

I knew most of the 10 reasons my body thought I was hungry, but it was nice to re-read them and remind myself of why I never really need seconds!

Also, would have enjoyed the article about the toning clothes... if it had made a definitive stance on whether or not the product was worth it. The toning clothes are obviously NOT worth the price, but the website wouldn't just come out and say so. - 11/29/2010   7:36:06 PM

I just had to read "Toning Pants: A Couch Potato's Hope Crushed". I would have been skeptical of this product even if the article were merely titled Toning Pants. I must admit I am curious as to how much money Reebok is going to make off this product.

I also enjoyed "It’s Time for Recess: Just Keep on Moving". I had been taking short walks at work but have been a bit lazy as of late. This article will hopefully motivate me to get up and get moving again! - 11/29/2010   6:52:45 PM

I'm intrigued by the dance moves, probably b/c I really want to see that movie! Also, its a great reminder about why you feel hungry... I always know it in the back of my head, but it doesn't do much for you when you get that way. I need to be more pro-active! - 11/29/2010   11:50:08 AM

Half of all Americans will have diabetes or show early symptoms of the disease by 2020, and the epidemic will cost the country $3.35 trillion over the next decade, a new report predicts.

THIS is why I'm no longer 214# like I was 3 years ago and all my miserable doctor would say was "Well, Mom, at you AGE you can't expect to lose weight now." SORRY, I wasn't going to take THAT for an answer. I had Metabolic Syndrome/Insulin Resistance and was on High Blood Pressure medicine and my Triglycerdies were 550 (high is 150), so I found how to turn myself around. I don't plan to have full blown diabetes ever. - 11/29/2010   9:29:22 AM

I like the reasons why you're hungry one. We all know them--but it's nice to be reminded regularly, huh? - 11/29/2010   8:08:31 AM

Wow... the diabetes article is certainly an interesting one with the statistics in there. Scary stuff. Especially the 1 in 3 people born in 2000 developing diabetes. - 11/29/2010   2:15:51 AM

I liked that one too! As a working, single mom I;ve been trying to build in more opportunities for fitness in my life, and I'm proud that a daily morning walk around my apartment complex is now a habit, but I'm dreading the wintry days when the sidewalks aren't clear. Thanks for the tip--I may just go walk up and down the stairs in my building at work. - 11/28/2010   10:51:43 PM

The NYT article about recess is great! Last winter, we had solid snow and ice and I had no safe sidewalks to go running on for 2 solid months. I was also depressed over the ending of a romance. I got up from my desk every 2 hours or so and went up and down three flights of stairs for 5 round trips. It was a huge help for my depression, and when the sidewalks cleared, I was surprisingly fit! The short bursts REALLY make a difference. And they make you happier, definitely happier. - 11/28/2010   7:10:19 PM
