Contest Closed: Win a FitDesk Exercise Bike!
This giveaway is now closed. The winner is: LITHE11.
We all know that too much sitting is bad for your health and for your fitness level, and according to the newest exercise guidelines published by the American College of Sports Medicine, even the benefits of regular exercise can't undo a generally sedentary lifestyle.
Bummer.
Fortunately, there are some viable alternatives to sitting at home and at work. One such solution for people who spend a lot of time in front of the computer is the FitDesk, which I had the pleasure of testing and reviewing earlier this year.
Now the makers of the FitDesk are sponsoring a giveaway for our readers. One lucky winner will get a FitDesk exercise bike—a $230 value!
What FitDesk Says: We live in a busy world. That's why we invented the FitDesk™—for those of us who like to get things done and have more time to enjoy the good things in life. If you want to get more out of your day and earn rewards in both productivity and health, this is the solution you have been looking for. The FitDesk’s patent pending design provides comfortable placement of your elbows so you can pedal and steady your arms for typing, gaming, and beyond.
What We Say: We agree! We enjoyed testing the FitDesk and think it's a great alternative to what would otherwise be completely sedentary computer time.

With due respect to your opinon please read:
I am the inventor of FitDesk and naturally felt your comment was a misguided attempt at helping others who are trying to help themselves.
Though I will personally defend the above statement at a later date. It is my current time constraints that limit my response to a much higher authority.
Please take the time to read the book produced by a prominent Dr. from the Mayo Clinic. Book is called "Move a litte, Lose a lot". Even if you only read the 1st 4 pages you will quickly understand that your thinking is the cause of millions who don't do any exercise or do exercise without noticeable results because they believe what you are saying. If you doubt the Mayo Clinic then we will have to agree to disagree and follow our passions.
My blessings to you, - 7/5/2011 1:44:50 PM

Further to my comments which is at number sixty-three (63), to coach Nicole Nichols or the developers of the "Fitdesk" who may want to confute my comments can do so via the following email: tbwseinc@gmail.com - 7/4/2011 9:10:43 PM
My credible advice to prospective buyers is to educate yourself about the sciences so you wouldn't become a victim of the aforementioned.
I challenge the developers to confute what I've dispense via this email. - 7/4/2011 8:38:02 PM
